Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Surgery)
The eyes tend to be focus of the face, and the first signs of aging are often seen there. A blepharoplasty is intended to eliminate the deep lines, puffiness, and loose, sagging skin of the upper eyelids, or to alleviate the excessively tired look of the bags and wrinkles of the lower eyelids, creating a more rejuvenated, youthful appearance.
The incision lines of a blepharoplasty are well concealed in the folds of the upper eyelid and along the eyelashes of the lower eyelids. Blepharoplasty is often performed in conjunction with a facelift or a browlift, but may be performed alone, particularly for those on a tighter budget. A blepharoplasty can also correct the sagging skin from the upper eyelids that may impair vision; please contact our office for more information regarding possible insurance coverage and the pre-determination process.
